Applications: MOLALUM® PHO is primarily used as an antacid in pharmaceutical formulations intended for the management of hyperacidity, heartburn, acid indigestion and other acid-related gastrointestinal symptoms. It is commonly incorporated into oral suspensions, gels, chewable tablets, tablets, powders and other oral antacid dosage forms, either alone or in combination with other antacid ingredients.

We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to international regulatory standards to ensure quality consistency with continuous supply.

(A) The solution gives the reaction of Phosphates.
(B) The solution gives the reaction of Aluminium.
3 Solubility It is very slightly soluble in water, practically insoluble in ethanol (96%). It dissolves in dilute solutions of mineral acids and alkali hydroxides.
4 Appearance of Solution Solution is clear and colourless.
5 PH Between 5.5 to 7.2.
6 Chlorides Not more than 1.3%.
7 Soluble Phosphates Not more than 1.0%.
8 Sulfates Not more than 0.6%.
9 Arsenic Not more than 1 ppm.
10 Loss on Ignition Between 10.0% to 20.0%.
11 Neutralizing capacity The pH of the mixture after 15 min at 37 °C is 2.0 to 2.5.
12 Assay Not less than 94.0% and not more than 102.0% of AlPO4 (ignited substance).

PACKAGING

 MOLALUM® PHO is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside, and is provided with a barcoded label and a tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in tight containers.
