(A) Specified Test. A precipitate is formed that dissolves in an excess of the reagent. Ammonia is not evolved.
(B) Specified Test. A violet color is imparted to the flame.
(C) Specified test. A white, crystalline precipitate is formed within 30 mins.
(D) It gives reaction for aluminum and sulfate.
3 Solubility It is very soluble in boiling water, freely soluble in water and in glycerin, insoluble in alcohol.
4 Loss on drying 43.0% to 46.0%
5 Iron Specified Test. No blue color is produced.
6 Assay Not less than 99.0% and not more than 100.5% calculated on dried basis.

PACKAGING

MOLALUM® K is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in tight containers.
